What is an SCC file?

The SCC file type is primarily associated with Scenarist by Sonic Solutions.

It is used in popular video editing & production programs like Adobe products, Microsoft Visual SourceSafe, and more.

Other closed caption making software will use this format as well.

How to open SCC files

It would be best if you had suitable software like Scenarist to open an SCC file. Without proper software, you will receive an error alert. If you cannot open your SCC file, try to right-click or long-press the file. Then click “Open with” and choose an application.
